  • Description

SV & CU PLO leader Yasser Arafat speaking 1.47

SPEECH ON CASSETTE (TRANSCRIPT) (SEQ 1): ARAFAT: "No peace, no solution, no stability, no security by overjumping the Palestinian rights including their rights to establish their independent states to return back to their homeland to establish their independent states and our capital is Jerusalem. We the Palestinians, with our brothers the Lebanese, are facing this violence daily from the sea, from the air, from the land. It continued more than 10 months this war of attrition. Beside you have to remember still they are occupying our country. And we are in a similar position. When the Nazis were occupying Europe the French people, as an example, were resisting by all means against this occupation. What we have mentioned we will stop ceasing fire through the Lebanese border but not to stop our resisting against occupation."
