SYNOPSIS: Morocco are at home against the United Arab Republic in the first leg of the second round of the African Nations Cup. The Egyptian side are playing from left to right.
The first half saw the U.A.R side always strong on the ball and doing most of the attacking. Their tall midfield players dominated the centre. But they never looked really dangerous in front of goal. The Egyptian side came to Morocco smarting from surprise defeat at the hands of Tunisia. Here they're all set to reestablish themselves.
Gradually the Moroccans got on top. Goals looked like coming, and here's the first.
Morocco kicked off to begin the second half. They came straight out attacking, and before long it was 2 - 0.
Morocco were firmly on top, and their confident midfield play, plus their use of the wings and their use of the long ball in these dry conditions kept them there.
The second leg will be played in Cairo before July the 31st.
