    AT A MEETING IN LONDON TODAY AT TOWER HILL, THE CHAIRMAN OF THE UNOFFICIAL PORT LIAISON COMMITTEE, MR. JACK DASH, TOLD DOCKERS THAT THE CLAIM WAS A MODEST ONE. HE SAID OTHER WORKERS HAD RECEIVED INCREASES BUT DOCKERS STILL GOT NINE GUINEAS.

    OTHER SPEAKERS CLAIMED DOCKERS HAD NOT HAD A WAGE INCREASE FOR MORE THAN TWO YEARS.
