Background: In Seoul, Nov 24, students injured in the April riots once again clashed with the police. They marched on the National Assembly, where the House of Representatives was reading a Bill limiting the civil rights of "undemocratic elements."
Hobbling on crutches, sometimes using them as weapons, they battled with a police cordon thrown round the Assembly building. Scuffles went on for nearly an hour.

The demonstration was broken up before the crippled students had a chance to repeat their storm on the Assembly of Oct 11, when they violently demanded punishment of ousted Syngman Rhee officials. This time they wanted to see some members of the present Lower House - whom they described as "undemocratic" - included in the purge.
