    Fifteen developing nations were represented at a ceremony in Geneva on Friday (25 Feb.) when their representatives signed the implementation Protocol which will assist them to develop trade within a global framework.

    The countries represented were Brazil, Chile, Egypt, Greece, Israel, South Korea, Mexico, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, Spain, Tunisia, Turkey, Uruguay and Yugoslavia.

    The developing countries are cooperating in trade matters under the ??? of the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT)
    (India is also a party to this agreement - but a representative of that country put his signature on the document on the previous day)
