    SIXTEEN KENYA STUDENTS ARRIVED BACK IN NAIROBI YESTERDAY (THURSDAY) AFTER SIX MONTHS STUDY IN ISRAEL. GREETING THEM ON THEIR RETURN WERE THE ADVISER ON CO-OPERATIVE DEVELOPMENT, MR AMIR, AND MRS. AMIR, RESPONSIBLE FOR OVERSEAS EDUCATION AT THE ISRAEL EMBASSY.

    IN ISRAEL, THE STUDENTS HAD SPECIALISED IN PARTICULAR SUBJECTS. THE WOMEN HAD CONCENTRATED ON FOOD AND NUTRITION PROBLEMS WHILE THE MEN HAD STUDIED AGRICULTURE, HORTICULTURE, AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT WORK.

    AMONG THE OTHER MEMBERS OF THE RECEPTION COMMITTEE WAS THE MINISTER OF LANDS AND SETTLEMENT, MR ANGAINE. HE TOLD THE STUDENTS THAT THEY WOULD BE WISE TO PUT THEIR LEARNING INTO PRACTICE, AND TO PASS ON KNOWLEDGE TO OTHERS. MRS AMIR SAID THAT THEIR KNOWLEDGE SHOULD MAKE THE STUDENTS DRIVING FORCES IN THEIR RESPECTIVE REGIONS.
