GV Exhibition Hall
A photo exhibition devoted to the Hsisha Islands is held in Peking recently.
The color photos show the heroic exploits of the armymen and people on the Hsisha Islands in their concernted efforts to defend and build up the archipelago. About 100 photos are on display.
The fair and fertile Hsisha Islands are like a handful of pearls scattered over the South China Sea. The islands abound in marine resources and form one of the major fishing grounds in the South China Sea.
Chinese fishermen have cast their nets here since ancient times.
Proofs and evidences of this are the many historical relics discovered on the islands.
