    Pakistan's four Governors, four Chief Minister and the country's law minister, held a two day meeting in Iolamabad which ended on Thursday (August 8). The conference decided there would be direct representation for Christians and other minorities in Pakistan and a new medical centro would be set up in Hazara.

    It was decided that members of minority groups could seek election to the General Assembly. Those who failed to get elected but polled the highest number of votes among the losers would be automatically elected to the reserve seats.

    The medical centre will make seats available to students from almost all Arab countries. The Institute will comprise of three wings handling between 400 and 500 students. The Pakistan Government and loans from oversea will pay for the institute.
