    TODAY'S RALLY TOOK ON AN AIR OF THE DAYS OF YESTERYEAR, AND A SOLIDER, REPRESENTING THE FOUNDER, GENERAL WILLIAM BOOTH, TOOK PART. ALSO, THERE WAS A VINTAGE CAR, SIMILAR TO THOSE BOOTH WOULD HAVE KNOWN WHEN HE MADE EVANGELISTIC TOURS.

    THE SALVATION ARMY CELEBRATIONS HAVE BEEN FLED DURING THE PAST TEN DAYS, AND ARE DUE TO END TOMORROW. THE PRESENT HEAD OF THE SALVATION ARMY, GENERAL FREDERICK COUTTS, TOOK THE SALUTE AND LATER ADDRESSED THE MARCHERS AT A RALLY IN TRAFALGAR SQUARE.
