    MR.NEHRU, INDIA'S PRIME MINISTER, SAID TODAY (SUNDAY) THAT INDIA WELCOMED THE SIX NON-ALIGNED NATIONS' PROPOSALS FOR SETTLEMENT OF THE SINO-INDIAN BORDER DISPUTE.HE ADDED THAT THE PROPOSALS WOULD BE PLACED BEFORE PARLIAMENT LATER THIS MONTH AND INDIA WOULD DO WHATEVER PARLIAMENT DECIDED.

    THE PROPOSALS, NOT YET ANNOUNCED, WERE DRAFTED AT A RECENT MEETING IN COLOMBO OF BURMA, CAMBODIA, CEYLON, GHANA, INDONESIA, AND THE UNITED ARAB REPUBLIC.REPRESENTATIVES OF THESE COUNTRIES HAD FINAL TALKS WITH MR.NEHRU IN NEW DELHI TODAY.

    YESTERDAY, MR.NEHRU WAS AT NEW DELHI AIRPORT TO WELCOME WING COMMANDER ALI SABRY, PRESIDENT OF THE U.A.R.EXECUTIVE COUNCIL, WHO FLEW IN TO DISCUSS THE COLOMBO PROPOSALS.

    THE TWO STATESMEN WERE JOINED IN INITIAL TALKS BY CEYLON'S PRIME MINISTER, MRS.BANDARANAIKE, AND GHANA'S JUSTICE MINISTER, MR.KOFI OFORI-ATTA.LATER, THEY RESUMED THEIR DISCUSSIONS WITH INDIAN MINISTERS AND REPRESENTATIVES OF THE OTHER NON-ALIGNED NATIONS AT THE INDIAN FOREIGN MINISTRY.
