    IN LONDON TODAY (SUNDAY) - A 10,000 STRONG RALLY IN TRAFALGAR SQUARE PROTESTING AGAINST THE SOUTH AFRICAN GOVERNMENT'S APARTHEID POLICY.

    EARLIER 2,000 DEMONSTRATORS WERE LET TO THE SQUARE BY AN OPPOSITION LABOUR MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT, MRS.BARBARA CASTLE, PRESIDENT OF THE BRITISH ANTI-APARTHEID MOVEMENT.

    A WREATH WAS LAID AT THE STEPS OF SOUTH AFRICA HOUSE, CLOSE TO THE SQUARE, BEARING THE INSCRIPTION: WE STAND HERE FOR THE THOUSANDS OF POLITICAL PRISONERS IN SOUTH AFRICA JAILS, DEDICATED AS THEY ARE TO THE NEW SOUTH AFRICA.
