    The Shah of Persia, with senior NATO and CENTO officers, watched British, Persian and Italian jet pilots perform aerobatics, precision bombing and paratroop 'drops', at an air-display near Teheran, October 18, held in connection with the first birthday celebrations of the Persian Air Force.

    Among the aircraft, were two Royal Air Force 'Victors' capable of carrying an atomic bomb. The Commander in Chief of Britain's Bomber Command, Air Marshall Sir Kenneth Cross, who arrived with the 'Victors', was at the Shah's side during the display to give performance details.

    The Shah, an aviator himself, chatted with the pilots before the display. He had a special word for his Air Force pilots before they took off to gave an aerobatic demonstration.
