    U NU WAS EXPECTED TO DISCUSS THIS DISPUTE WITH THE INDIAN PRIME MINISTER MR. NEHRU WHEN THEY MET IN NEW DELHI.

    A TEAM OF ARMY OFFICERS WAS ALSO THERE TO FAREWELL THE PREMIER.

    THE OFFICERS INCLUDED GENERAL NE WIN, THE HEAD OF THE BURMESE ARMED FORCES.

    UNTIL ELEVEN MONTHS AGO THE GENERAL HEADED THE ARMY REGIME WHICH RULED BURMA.

    THE PREMIER WAS ACCOMPANIED ON HIS TRIP BY HIS WIFE DAW MYA YEE HIS ADVISOR U OH AND FOREIGN OFFICE PERMANENT SECRETARY MR. JAMES BARRINGTON.
