Prime Minister Nobusuke Kishi of Japan, on the latest stage of his goodwill tour in Europe, conferred July 22 with President de Gaulle of France at the Presidential Elysee Palace. With them was Prime Minister Michele Debre.

Mr. Kishi's meeting with de Gaulle was the chief feature of his three-day visit to Paris. One of the subjects of discussion was the Geneva Conference. Mr. Kishi reported afterwards that General de Gaulle was not in favour of a summit meeting unless the Foreign Ministers reached some agreement at Geneva.
