    Background: A trade delegation from Ghana will tour Hungary in the near future to explore further avenues of trade and economic co-operation between the two countries, it was announced in Ghana on Tuesday (June 27) at a farewell luncheon for the outgoing Hungarian Ambassador.

    Ghana's Commissioner (Minister) for Foreign Affairs, Major-General Nathaniel Aferi, told the farewell luncheon that there was a "new climate of understanding" between the two countries. He also announced arrangements for brick and tile factories in Ghana to be equipped with Hungarian machinery.

    The Ambassador, Mr. Janos Lorincz-Nagy, left for home the following day after four years' service there.
