    HIS FIRST SUBJECT IS ICARUS, WHO, ACCORDING TO GREEK MYTHOLOGY, COATED HIMSELF WITH WAX AND TRIED TO FLY TO THE SUN. NEXT TARGET FOR THE SURREALISTIC ARTIST IS MEDUSA, ONE OF THE THREE GREEK MYTHOLOGICAL WINGED FEMALE CREATURES WHOSE HAIR CONSISTED OF SNAKES. IN THE THIRD PICTURE HE GIVES HIS "JUDGMENT OF PARIS".

    ALSO ON SHOW IS A BUST OF HIM BY SCULPTOR GEORGES BOULOGNE. VISITORS ARE ADVISED NOT TO COME TOO CLOSE FOR SMALL, LIVE SNAKES PROTRUDING FROM THE NOSE FORM HIS MOUSTACHE. BOULOGNE SAID A FREUDIAN THEORY GAVE HIM THE INSPIRATION FOR THE SNAKES.

    FOOTNOTE: DALI TOLD THOSE ATTENDING THE PREVIEW THAT HE INTENDS TO MAKE A FILM IN WHICH THE ACTORS WILL BE CAULIFLOWERS, "SYMBOLS OF MY THOUGHT."
