    PEKING'S DECISION TO BOYCOTT THE PROPOSED CONFERENCE - ANNOUNCED YESTERDAY (TUESDAY) - POSES A GRAVE PROBLEM FOR THE CONFERENCE SPONSORS AND THREATENS A SPLIT IN THE AFRO-ASIAN WORLD.

    MEANWHILE DELEGATIONS ARE ALREADY ARRIVING IN ALGIERS, FOR THE CONFERENCE WHICH IS STILL SCHEDULED TO START ON 5TH NOVEMBER.

    ALGERIA HAS ANNOUNCED THAT SO FAR, SOME 43 COUNTRIES HAVE ACCEPTED THE INVITATION TO THE CONFERENCE, WHICH IF IT TAKES PLACE WILL BE THE SECOND AFRO-ASIAN CONFERENCE. THE FIRST WAS HELD IN BANDUNG, INDONESIA IN 1955.
