Mr. Hammarskjoeld, the Secretary General of the United Nations, arrived in London yesterday to begin talks with Mr. Macmillan and Mr. Selwyn Lloyd.
Three subjects are high on the agenda of these talks:
Prospects of summit talks between East and West Disarmament deadlock and The Middle East, especially Tunisia.
Tomorrow Mr. Hammarskjoeld will be received by the Queen at Windsor, and later the Prime Minister will give a dinner in his honour at No. 10 Downing Street.
Mr. Hammarskjoeld has just returned from Moscow on what he calls "a regular working visit". He is known to have discussed the deadlock in the armament negotiations, and the possibility of summit talks.
