    TUN MUSTAPHA BIN DATU HARUN, SABAH'S HEAD OF STATE, MET THE PRINCE AS HE STEPPED FROM HIS AIRCRAFT WEARING A JUNGLE GREEN ARMY GENERAL'S UNIFORM AND INTRODUCED HIM TO SEVERAL OFFICIALS, INCLUDING THE CHIEF MINISTER, MR.PETER LOH.

    A FEW HUNDRED PEOPLE GREETED THE SMILING PRINCE WITH CHEERS ON HIS ARRIVAL.BUT THERE WAS NOT THE POMP AND SPLENDOUR OF HIS LAST VISIT SIX YEARS AGO WHEN SABAH WAS THEN A BRITISH COLONY OF WORTH BORNEO.

    THE PRINCE ARRIVED ABOARD AN AIRCRAFT OF THE QUEEN'S FLIGHT FROM BRUNEI, AN INDEPENDENT STATE ON THE NORTHWEST COAST OF SARAWAK.WHILE IN SABAH, HE WILL INSPECT BRITISH AND MALAYSIAN UNITS IN FORWARD POSITIONS WHICH FACE INDONESIAN TERRITORY ACROSS THE BORNEO BORDER.
