For instance...yesterday this friend of mine from California called me up and asked me to stop over at his hotel room....
...and bring him any spare clothes hangers I had rattling around the house. I wondered what he wanted them for, especially since he was staying at such a swank place.

Of course, my friend was Bob Hope, who is on his way to Russia. Left last night. And the feller he was talking about toward the end of that film was Der Bingle...last name Crosby;
NBC's Moscow correspondent, Irving R. Levine, will shuttle Bob around Moscow when he gets there. And, I trust, keep him out of trouble. But if anybody can tickle the Russian bear's funny bone..it will be Bob Hope.
