TUN RAZAK WAS SPEAKING AT A PRESS CONFERENCE AFTER MEETING CHANCELLOR KURT GEORG KIESINGER AND OTHER WEST GERMAN LEADERS.

    THE MALAYSIAN VICE-PRESIDENT MET PRESIDENT HEINRICH LUEBKE, CHANCELLOR KURT GEORG KIESINGER AND FOREIGN MINISTER WILLY BRANDT. IN AN EXCHANGE OF GIFTS, CHANCELLOR KIESINGER GAVE TUN RAZAK A TAPE RECORDER AND LATER PRESIDENT LUEBKE DECORATED HIM WITH A HIGH GERMAN ORDER.

    TUN RAZAK TOLD THE PRESS CONFERENCE THAT BONN LEADERS HAD ALSO GUARANTEED WEST GERMAN SUPPORT FOR MALAYSIA'S EFFORTS TO BUILD CLOSER CO-OPERATION WITH THE EUROPEAN COMMON MARKET.

    YESTERDAY WAS THE FINAL DAY OF TUN RAZAK'S EUROPEAN TOUR TO OUTLINE MALAYSIA'S DEVELOPMENT NEEDS. TODAY, HE WAS SCHEDULED TO FLY TO MOSCOW TO MAKE THE FIRST VISIT TO THE SOVIET UNION BY A MALAYSIAN MINISTER.
