A four member Parliamentary delegation from Kenya are in Karachi for a week long goodwill visit. On Wednesday (16 January) the delegation was received by members of the Sind Provincial Assembly. The previous day they had called on the Pakistan Prime Minister, Mr. Zulfikar Ali Bhutto
The Kenyan delegation is led by Mr. S. M. Balala, M.P., Assistant Minister for Finance and Economic Planning and President of the Supreme Council of Kenya Muslims.
Also in the delegation was Mr. S. M. Jahazi, M.P., Assistant Minister for Health.
During their visit the Kenyan party saw the Sind industrial estate and the national Motor Factory. They are also visiting the Pakistan Navy dockyard, medical centres and places of historical interest before meeting politicians form the Pun jab National Assembly.
On Saturday (January 19) the Kenyans are due to meet the President of Pakistan, Fazal Elahi Chaudhry.
