    During the past two year art teacher Ron van Der Meer has been teaching blind children to draw, helped by a very simple technique he invented himself.
    Now in the London whitechapel art gallery the drawings of four of his pupils are exhibited and attract a lot of attention.
    Dutchborn Mr van der Meer, who had financed the whole project himself up to now, hopes that the exhibition will show the blind institutes what valuable method it is and will encourage them to chance drawing lessons in their schools.
    The four artists are girls between the age of 17-19 all pupils of the school for the blind in charley wood(near London) one of them is 19 year old Kirstie Hearn-She explains what the difficulties are of learning to draw without seeing.
