    The Civil Aviation Commission for Africa -- set up by the Organisation of African Unity in 1969 to oversee the greater part of the continent's air transport -- began it's tenth executive working session in Brazzaville in the Congo on Friday (22 March). The executive meeting, under the presidency of Ghana and the vice-presidencies of Tunisia, Mali, Cameroun and Uganda, discussed unpublished plans to maximise the efficiency of the present air networks across the continent. The meeting was due to end on Tuesday (26 March).

    The organisation includes 32 member nations, and embraces tourism, training of airlines staff, air safety and airfreight transport among its responsibilities.
