The Swedish hope to beat the Canadian team Kelewna Packers even in the second match dashed when they met Tuesday 111 at Stockholm Stadium. The Canadian triumph was however not a result of a good game, but a result of a camouflaged fight fighting with the fists.
The match started in a good tempo. After two minutes Lyson, Sweden made 1-0 for Sweden, but within 3 minutes it was 3-1 to Canada - Joe Lansia, Mike Durban and Kowalchuk, Broems Sweden made the second Swedish goal and Stesyk and Jia Niddleton 5-2 to Canada which also was the match result. For both matches it was 7-7.
In the middle of the third period the Canadian team helped Mike Durban to find one of his teeth, which he with a smile gave to the Packers' leader 0'Reilly and short after the same thing happened to Jim Middleton.
The Packers now leave Stockholm for Moscow. We wish them good luck.
