MR STEWART DENIED THAT THERE WAS A LONDON VERSION OF THE CONTENT OF THE TALKS AND A PARIS VERSION; THE ONLY VERSION ISSUED WAS THAT AGREED BY BOTH LONDON AND PARIS.

    MR SOAMES DID NOT TALK TO THE PRESS AT THE AIRPORT BUT IT WAS REPORTED THAT HE LATER LUNCHED WITH THE FOREIGN SECRETARY.
