Background: The Argentine Foreign Minister, Mr. Jose Pastors, yesterday (Saturday) predicted growing co-operation between France and his country. He was speaking in Paris after a meeting with the French Foreign Minister, Mr. Maurice Schumann.
Mr. Pastors said France would take a greater share in Argentina's economic development in the coming years. The Foreign Minister is on a European tour which began on February 7. He heads an eight man mission which will meet with economic heads in Europe and the United States with the aim of improving aid for development.
Mr. Pastors's visit Paris will last two days. He flew in from Frankfurt where he had talks with the West German Economics Minister, Mr. Karl Schiller.
From France, Mr. Pastors and his team will fly on to Rome, London and the United States.
