    Bandung, Indonesia.... a city with a glorious history of anti-imperialist struggles.

    In 1955, the first Asian-African Conference was held in Bandung.

    On April 21st of this year, President Sukarno of Indonesia and China's Premier Chou En-lai again visited Bandung where they received a most warm welcome.

    Here, President Sukarno, Premier Chou En-lai and other distinguished guests from Asian and African countries watched cultural performances.

    A band of some four hundred primary and secondary school pupils performed melodies with the anglung, a popular instrument well-known throughout West Java.

    Indonesian dances by professional artists were also performed.
