    The Grandstand Show attracts a major percentage of the three million people who visit the Canadian National Exhibition in Toronto annually. The "Ex", as it is known throughout Canada, lasts for three weeks -- the last two weeks in August and the first in September -- and is the largest annual exhibition in the world. It was begun in 1879 and its Grandstand has attracted some of the leading names from the world of showbusiness. This year Danny Kaye in the name attraction in the Grandstand Show, but the three-hour extravaganza also features singers, dancers, acrobats and the precision drill work of men from the Canadian army, navy and airforce. The 132 men perform without a single command being given and conclude their demonstration with some integrated drill work. The men of the three services had never worked together before the Exhibition performance and hence the precision work is all the more amazing.
