  • Description

Film showing HARLEM QUIET IN WAKE OF MAYOR'S SPEECH.

Film shows shoppers much as normal along 125th street in Manhattan, Harlem's main thoroughfare.

    Initials

NOTE: As of this writing (10:30pm) two minor incidents had taken place. Police dispersed a crowd of teenagers in Harlem, and police fired warning shots in Bedford Stuyvesant. Cops on duty in B-S told NBC reporters no shots had been fired and that there had been no incident where one was reported.
Therefore shipping this---but I expect you to dump it if there is any further violence tonight.
General idea of story (unless something happens) should be Harlem back to normal on surface, but tension still there.
