Rhodesia -- and on returning to the Geneva conference on the nation's future, Prime Minister Mr. Ian Smith said he was trying to salvage the 'tremendous effort put into it'. Meanwhile, British conference Chairman Mr. Ivor Richard, on a brief return journey to London to report back, said he did not think the recent massacre of three white missionaries in Rhodesia would have a significant bearing on the talks about Rhodesia's future.
