  • Description

Like most babies, this newcomer to Vancouver has a formula, and it was clearly marked on his travelling crate.

He's bear cub from Tuktuyaktuk in the Arctic, whose mother was killed by Eskimo hunters. Now he will live in Vancouver's Stanley Park Zoo. The six-week old cub was shipped in by plane and was a bit airsick. He weighs ten pounds, but in a few years will weight about a thousand pounds.

Right now, he's more interested in milk than anything else--but within a few weeks, officials hope to formally introduce him to the public.
