The fist traditional event of the motorist season every year is the Rally Monte Carlo competition. Seventy-six cars from a total of two hundred seventy five competing cars which had started from various points crossed Czechoslovakia on their way to the target point. A time checking point had been established in Prague. Crwes coming through Prague had negotiated the first two thousand kilometres partly leading over ice- and sleat covered roads, in rain and snowfalls. The fist drivers who reached Prague were Hoenbroech and Ratjen(GFR) on a Chevrolet car. They were followed in very short intervals by the rest of the cars which all met in front of the Czechoslovak Automobile Club building in the city of Prague.
(1.) Starting number 1- Jean Wisner, Austria, and Mrs. Wiener, driving a GLASS- car
(2.) Starting number 30- Austrian crew Padoane and Dommayer driving a Steyer-Puch car
(3.) Starting number 29- Polish crew of another Steyer-Puch car are Zasada-Osinski
(4.) Starting number 56- English drivers Paddy-Hopkirk driving a BMC COOPER's car.
