Organised by the Ivorian Centre of Business Administration (C.I.G.E.), it was opened by M. Mamadou Coulibaly...President of the Ivory Coast's Economic and Social Council, and attended by representatives of several countries...including France, the United States, and Britain. Addressing the conference, M. Ange Francois Barry-Batteati...the Ivory Coast's Minister of Technical and Professional Education...otres???d that although his country was primarily an agricultural one, the rapid rise and growth of industries during recent years made the proper training of management from all fields, all the more important.

    M. Mamadou Coullbaly, President of the Ivory Coast's Economic and Social Council, was among those present.

    Among prominent speakers on the opening day was the Ivory Coast's Minister or Technical and Professional Education, M. Ange Francois Barry-Battesti.

    The Minister's audience...apart from delegates...included management exports from France, the United States and Britain.

    M. Barry-Battesti stressed that although his country was primarily an agricultural one, the rapid growth of industry in recent years made proper management training all the more important.
