    United Nations General Assembly delegates have voted against a debate on the Korean question by endorsing a Steering Committee recommendation to defer the issue until next year.

    The vote in the 132-member assembly was 70 to 35, with 21 abstentions.

    Three speakers at the debate were the Japanese delegate, Mr. Toru Nakagawa; the Australian delegate, Sir Lawrence McIntyre; and the Yugoslavian delegate, Mr. Lazar Majsov.

    SYNOPSIS: As the results were indicted on the board, it was obvious there would be no debate, with the voting seventy to thirty-five, with twenty-one abstentions.
