    THE 20-YEAR-OLD MISS SEYFERT, AN OLYMPIC SILVER MEDALLIST, PERFORMED AN IMMACULATE SERIES OF TRIPLE AND DOUBLE LEAPS TO BECOME CHAMPION FOR THE THIRD TIME. SHE WON THE TITLE PREVIOUSLY IN 1966 AND 1967.

    MISS MASKOVA MADE A DESPERATE ATTEMPT TO KEEP HER TITLE, BUT MADE SEVERAL MISTAKES WITH OVER-AMBITIOUS JUMPING.
