    Background: Members of war-time resistance groups from France, Belgium and Holland arrived at Gatwick Aiport, Sussex, July 18 in an RAF transport plane. They have come for a big international rally of the RAF Escaping Society, and are to attend a reception given by the Queen at Buckimgham Palace.

    Resistance members from Greece, Norway and Denmark arrived simultaneously at London Airport.

    The RAF's resistance guest number altogether about 100. The Queen will be receiving them at a Palace Garden Party July 21, and they will be guiests on a 5-day holiday of members of the RAF Escaping Society.

    Among those arriving at Gatwick was Mme. Anne Brusselmans, MBE, of Belgium. She helped 176 RAF men to escape during the war, and will be meeting many of them again during her visit. She is 55 years old. Others came from as far afield as the Pyrenees, where they helped escapers to pass into Spain.
