FOREMAN: I'm not going to destroy him, I'm not going, this man has been talking since he's been boxing. People have broken his jaw, knocked him out, one guy knocked his legs so far up in the air I thought he was going to take off. And he got up and started talking so there's now way I'm going to be able to stop him from talking. I even saw him with his mouth wired up and he was talking as fast as an average man. So all I'm going to be doing out there is trying to win the fight, I'm not going to try to take away Ali's following. He's been gifted. God gave him that, and it's something he admires. Some thing he should keep because it does him better than money.

QUESTION: George what do you weigh now, what do you go into the ring like?

FOREMAN: I weighed yesterday about 245. I think I ate a watermelon which took me up to 250.

Background: George Foreman meets fellow American Muhammad ali in defence of his World Heavyweight boxing title in Kinshasa, Zaire, next moth. The bout promises to be a classic encounter. Foreman showed his power in January 1973 when he beat Joe Franzier in two rounds. Ali, the former champion showed his form with wins over the top three other contenders.

At a recent news conference in Chicago, Foreman said he was confident of beating Ali, who he said talked too much.
