Twice occupied by enemy forces within 26 years, Belgium honoured its war dead of the two world wars on the 40th anniversary of Armistice Day, Nov. 11. King Baudouin of the Belgians led the country in its service of remembrance at the memorial to the Unknown Warrior. After he had laid a wreath at the foot of the monument and observed the traditional one minute silence, the youthful King spoke with invalids of the two wars.
