    TRANSCRIPT FOR SEQUENCE THREE:

CONRADIE: "The first time in the world that it's going through two buses. I've been through one bus five times, I mean five different buses. But this is the first time now I've been through two buses. And I hope we're going to make it nicely."

REPORTER: "But why are you going to do it?"

CONRADIE: "Well, I suppose it's something in my blood. That's nice, it gives you a fantastic feeling when you get out on the other side and you're one piece and you're alive, you know, it's fantastic."

    TRANSCRIPT FOR SEQUENCE SIX:

CONRADIE: "It's fantastic. I feel a bit sore here and there, but it's a fantastic feeling. I just saw a motor car convertible, the top was completely off there."

Background: In Johannesburg, a 35-year-old stunt driver has crashed a car at more than 120 kilometres per hour (90 m.p.h.) through two buses and lived to tell the tale. Victor Conradie drove the 1974 Jaguar down a ramp and through the two buses, landing on top of two cars parked on the far side of the buses. Mr. Conradie claimed it was the first time that anyone had driven through two buses. He had driven through one bus on five previous occasions. When Mr. Conradie and his co-driver, Panpaw Scheepers, emerged from the vehicle unscathed, the Johannesburg crowd gave them an enthusiastic reception.
