Eighty-eight thousand acres of Florida (southeast USA) wasteland will soon be converted into a metropolis worth nearly a billion dollars. It will be the moon port for the lunar launching the United States hopes to make in the late 60's and the port is scheduled for completion in 1966.
The vertical assembly building will be the world's biggest structure. It will rise fifty-two stories high and will be the tallest structure south of the Washington Monument in the nation's capitol. It will cover an area as big as six football fields and will be visable as far as forty miles away.
The building will house the Saturn V, the moon launch rocket, which is 360 feet high. Rockets will go from the building to the launching pad on a big double highway that resembles highspeed highways in the U.S. From this port the United States hopes to send astronauts on man's first visit to the moon before 1970.
