  • Description

Cambodian troops, with help from the U.S.A., have rebuilt a supply-line bridge near Taing Kran.

The bridge, damaged by the enemy, was part of a supply line servicing 15,000 Cambodian troops. First reports said the bridge could not be repaired for several weeks. But American aircraft flew in pontoons from South Vietnam, and within hours the replacement bridge was in order. Part of the pontoon sections were also used by the Cambodians as makeshift ferry-boats.
