GREEN: "Oh, Ray's picked up a bit of a break off the, side on that can only end in a disaster. He's up the bank. He's coming back on the track again, the Marshals are waving their flags and oh, just out of back Anderson in the little Anglia he's caught fire. Anderson driving there. Here he comes, he's undone the seat harness, very quickly out. That's Anderson, who went into the back of Rayson's car. The fire masters are running to the scene. There's a master just across the track waiting till the traffic clears.

GREEN: "Let's just wait there for the starter's flag. That's Jump there, and the power goes down on Nordern's car and he's away He's seen them, on there's a bad one. There, there's a body up in the air, number six the one that lost most of the body shell."

Shepherd: "Stewart Barnacle (phonetic spelling) from Victoria."

GREEN: "Bang, they throw it in, he's leaning on that tyre all the way, see the understeer on board that, oh there's Hunter there, Barry Seton, he's lost the race I'd say. It's important there the flag marshals let, no it's happening, it's not going to happen."

SHEPHERD: "It's straightened Barry up, Barry should be away here."

GREEN: "It's Bob Holden who hit him. Neither will be terribly happy Bob Holden looks a bit down, there's broken glass there. Bob steemer, he's done his motor. You can see the steam there coming from the radiator."

SHEPHERD: "It might be the last lap Evan but Alan's not letting him have it easy. I tell you he can nearly get up alongside here."

GREEN: "Well he'd like to because he's a great racer. Now he's making his big move, he's coming up there right behind. He's not going to biff him or do anything silly but he's going to go very close to taking the paint off the fence. It'll be Lakis Manticas who wins the race and it is Allen Grice who wins the series."
