    HE WAS SPEAKING IN LONDON AFTER A ROUND OF TALKS WITH GOVERNMENT LEADERS IN BRITAIN, CANADA AND THE UNITED STATES.MR.NYERERE SAID HE HAD ASKED THEM TO USE THEIR INFLUENCE TO END COLONIALISM BY PEACEFUL MEANS.AFTER ALSO REFERRING TO SOUTH AFRICA, THE PRESIDENT WAS ASKED WHAT WOULD BE DONE, IF SUCH MEANS FAILED:
    TOMORROW PRESIDENT NYERERE LEAVES LONDON FOR HOME, STOPPING OVER IN ALGERIA AT THE INVITATION OF ITS PREMIER, MR.BEN BELLA.HE IS DUE BACK IN DAR-ES-SALAM NEXT MONDAY.
