The 23rd. Boat Exhibition to be held in Paris is now open on the banks of the Seine.
The exhibition was opened on Friday by the President M. Coty.
Unlike the boat exhibition elsewhere, for instance, London and New York, where all the exhibits were under cover, this one is housed completely in the open air. This has many advantages chief among which is the possibility of setting craft in their own element and of bringing to the exhibition vessels which would otherwise be excluded by virtue of their size.
A visitor which aroused considerable interest was the British "Pathfinder", a ship of war with a history.
Shipbuilding technicians of many nationalities are visiting the show, while spectators may watch hydroplane racing on the Seine.
