    THE MAYOR OF NOTASULGA, MR. JAMES REA HAD, NINE DAYS EARLIER, REFUSED THE STUDENTS ADMISSION, WATCHED THE SIX NEGROES ENTER THE COLLEGE YESTERDAY MORNING WITHOUT COMMENT.

    THE MASS BOYCOTT STARTED ON MONDAY AT THE MACON COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL AND AT ANOTHER HIGH SCHOOL NEARBY WHERE SIX OTHER NEGROES HAVE BEEN ADMITTED. THE BOYCOTT WAS REPORTED TO BE ONE HUNDRED PER CENT EFFECTIVE YESTERDAY.
