Background: Small, 2-litre (about 3-1/2 pints cartons of water imported from Norway went on sale at supermarkets and shops in Rotterdam on Thursday (11 November) following complaints of the taste of water obtained normally from the Rhine and Maas Rivers. The two rivers are at a low level and contain a quantity of salt. The Rhine is at its lowest level for 150 years.
