    M. SPAAK TOLD REPORTERS AFTER THE ONE-HOUR MEETING AT THE ELYSEE PALACE IN PARIS THAT THE ATMOSPHERE BETWEEN HIMSELF AND GENERAL DE GAULLE WAS "EXCELLENT".

    THE BELGIAN FOREIGN MINISTER SAID AGRICULTURE WAS PROMINENT AMONG THE QUESTIONS DISCUSSED. ASKED WHETHER THERE WAS ANY PROGRESS MADE, M. SPAAK SAID: "I HOPE SO."
    HE SAID THEY HAD ALSO DISCUSSED NATO AND, MORE PARTICULARLY THE MULTILATERAL NUCLEAR FORCE, IN WHICH BELGIUM, UNLIKE FRANCE, IS A MEMBER OF THE EIGHT-COUNTRY WORKING GROUP.

    ASKED WHETHER ANY AGREEMENT HAD BEEN REACHED ON THIS PROJECT, HE SAID: "NO, OF COURSE NOT. THIS WAS NOT AN AIM OF TALKS OF THIS KIND."
