Led by the Canadian High Commissioner in London. The Hon. George A. Drew, the party were greeted at the airport by the Minister of Commerce, Lord Glentoran.
Initial greetings over, the delegation repaired to Government House to meet the Governor of Ulster.
Thence to Messrs Harland and Wolff's where the Chairman of the Company showed them a model layout of the shipyard in his office. The Canadians also saw a 30,000 ton ship receiving finishing touches prior to launching this week.
