    BRABHAM TOOK THE LEAD IN THE A RACE AFTER A FEW LAPS OF THE 2.65 MILE (3.KM) CIRCUIT AND MAINTAINED IT UNTIL THE CLOSE. THE RACE WAS OVER EIGHTY LAPS OF THE CIRCUIT.
